It is a good
idea to carry a range of tools & spares to suit both your specific vehicle & camper
trailer when travelling to
remote areas of Australia. Lives have been lost when a simple unexpected
breakdown occurs & an easy fix could have been made if the right gear would have
been included as a safety kit.
By having a little know how, a workshop manual for your vehicle & some tools &
spares onboard, necessary repairs can be made to safely get you out of trouble &
back on the road into the next town for expert repairs. You may not be
able to fix the problem, but if you have the necessary tools & parts on hand
someone may come along that could fix it for you.
