overlooking the Bylong Valley & Goulburn River from Phipps Cutting Phipps Cutting is an old road that makes it way up & over a ridge above the once vertical cliff face against the Goulburn River. The dry stone rock walls are placed in a position with filled earth to form the road. A walking trail starts from the Phipps Cutting picnic area not far from Baerami on the Bylong Valley Way & follows the road to the top of the ridge for a panoramic view of the Bylong Valley. |
