Golden Gully Arch - Tambaroora

The Golden Gully diggings at Tambaroora near Hill End NSW is the eroded remnant of the rich alluvial goldfield of the 1850's. At its height the town of Tambaroora was home to around 2,500 people. Rounded tunnels into the walls of the gully which are indicative of Chinese mining methods.
